I never intended to be an entrepreneur. But frankly, I was tired of the old boys’ club and working for someone else's bottom line.
As fate would have it, in 2017, I found myself a laid-off, single mom of 4 with no cash runway.
I experienced firsthand the stereotypes that face women in business. From the start, we’re not taught to be confident in our pursuit of financial success – and that really doesn’t help when we start our own businesses.
I want to change all that.
After a decades-long career in finance, accounting and operations for Fortune 500 companies like NBC, CBS and FOX, I launched dk east associates to help entrepreneurs and founders level up their processes and gain confidence in their business. Our mission is to transform the business world – so we can all achieve sustainable success.
